semester reflection
Over the semester I have gained knowledge on different types of photography as well as different techniques. When I started I didn't know anything about photography, I just knew what the outcome looked like. I learned about different parts of the camera like the aperture and shutter speed; I also learned about how they affect a photo. This class provided me with information on portrait lighting, depth of fields, layer masking, fast and slow motion, as well as basic editing. because of my basic knowledge, I could have a simple conversation with a photographer which is a tool I am glad to have.

Question: How does changing the color effect the mood/feel of the picture?
I think that colors in general affects our mood and emotions; for example when you think of the color yellow you typically think of happiness and energy and joy. So, when you change the color of a picture you'll naturally feel different if its in black and white as opposed to color.
